Arbikie AK's Gin

70cl | 43% ABV | Scotland

Arbikie AK’s Gin is a tribute to the head of the distillery’s family, Alexander Kirkwood Stirling. It’s a grain to glass gin, with a nose-tickling dose of black pepper and a sweet, syrupy dose of honey. Bonus: £1 from every sale goes to charity.

AK’s Gin is simply beautiful, with honey bringing soft creaminess and spices, including mace and cardamom, bringing fragrant depth instead of heat. There’s no wonder it was once officially named the world’s best Martini! Try it with White Vermouth.

"Arbikie is one of the half dozen Scottish distilleries that are at that forefront of innovation in the gin industry. The product quality's a given, but the real appeal here is the authenticity that you buy into each time you pick up a bottle."

About this product

Arbikie Distillery make their neutral spirit from wheat grown in their own fields. To make AK’s Gin, distiller Kirsty Black adds oily juniper and locally derived honey into the still, along with a selection of carefully curated citrus and spice.

Brothers Iain, John and David Stirling grew up on the family farm in Arbikie, Scotland, and after years in the drinks trade, ventured home to set up a distillery. The recruited hotshot distiller Kirsty Black fresh out of Heriot-Watt and set to work.

Arbikie Distillery was home to a distillery in the 1700s, so the team sought to embody the ways in which people worked back then using local ingredients. Love of the land also led to them creating the world’s first carbon negative gin. Impressive!
