Arbikie Kirsty's Gin

70cl | 43% ABV | Scotland

Named for Arbikie’s brilliant distiller, Kirsty’s Gin is inspired by the view from the front of the distillery and crammed with locally plucked botanicals, including thistle and blueberries from the ground and kelp from the sea.

This is a really transporting gin, picking the drinker up and dropping them in the heart of the countryside. Try it in a G&T with no garnish to let the flavours really speak for themselves, but add a grapefruit wheel if you fancy a dose of freshness.

Key Flavours

"Their very own potato base spirit underpins the gin with creamy texture, while the botanicals paint a whimsical picture of the verdant Scottish coast in summer. A stunning gin for those day dreaming of such and escape."

About this product

Arbikie Distillery is a farm to bottle maker, with the base for Kirsty’s Gin made from potatoes grown on the family farm. The botanicals are left to soak in the neutral spirit for a whole day. Once distilled, the flavours are left to marry for weeks.

Brothers Iain, John and David Stirling grew up on the family farm in Arbikie, Scotland, and after years in the drinks trade, ventured home to set up a distillery. The recruited hotshot distiller Kirsty Black fresh out of Heriot-Watt and set to work.

Arbikie Distillery was home to a distillery in the 1700s, so the team sought to embody the ways in which people worked back then using local ingredients. Love of the land also led to them creating the world’s first carbon negative gin. Impressive!
