About this product

A blend of Molasses based rums from five distilleries (from Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados and Guyana, with an unusual addition of some Batavia Arrack from Java), each aged between three and twelve years then filtered to remove the colour in Amsterdam.

Banks 5 was originally formulated by master blender, Arnaud de Trabuc working in collaboration with US bartender, Jim Meeham. In 2015 Banks was acquired by Bacardi and is now part of their portfolio.

As a blend of 21 different pot and column distilled rums from six distilleries from five countries, all blended and bottled in a 6th - Banks is a truly international affair.
