Beefeater Burrough's Reserve Gin

Beefeater Burrough's Reserve Gin

70cl | 43% ABV | England

Beefeater Burrough’s Reserve is an extraordinary spirit, with a beautiful copper colour and a mellow mouthfeel. Each batch is rare (we’re talking a thousand litres a time), with the current crop rested in red and white Bordeaux oak.

Burrough’s Reserve is only to be sipped neat on ice. That may sound a little uncompromising, but a gin this complex, with burning wood, soft, sweet vanilla and grape barrel fruitiness is one to be cherished.

Dried Fruit
"A great example of aged gin in that it's clearly still got a solid gin DNA and profile that shines through, but the oak and the barrel's previous occupant really add an extra layer, which evolve as they dilute in the glass."

About this product

Burrough’s Reserve is made following the traditional London Dry method, on Beefeater’s small, experimental Number 12 still. After distillation, the gin is left to rest in used oak barrels to leach out its Bordeaux characteristics.

"A modern masterpiece of distilling, bringing global inspiration to London and combining it with centuries old traditions. The grapefruit is what you notice first, but the clever use of tea is what makes it such a beguiling proposition."
