Berry Bros and Rudd London Dry Gin

Berry Bros and Rudd London Dry Gin

70cl | 40.6% ABV | England

Historic booze merchants Berry Bros & Rudd have taken an amazing delve into history for their London Dry Gin, using the very last dregs of their 1950s gin, Berry’s Best, as inspiration to recreate a new version for the modern Gin boom.

With juniper, coriander and angelica in the lead, this is every bit the classic gin – textbook, almost. Thick, sappy juniper, a great, green thwack of winter savoury and a lemony coriander prevail. Try it in a G&T with an orange wheel garnish.

Key Flavours

"Classic is as classic comes - this is a gin for those seeking out a trusty and reliable London Dry for everyday use."

About this product

Berry Bros & Rudd London Dry Gin is made by Charles Maxwell and his team at Thames Distillers, one of the most reputable contract distilleries in England. Maxwell knows his stuff to a T, so one sip was all it took for him to work out the recipe.

Wine & Spirit Merchant Berry Brothers & Rudd has been operating in London in some guise of other since 1698. From a coffee mill to a wine shop, it’s worn many hats, but quality has always been at the heart of its mission.

Thames Distillers, based in South London, is a contract distillery responsible for creating so many of today’s gins. Distiller Charles Maxwell is a dab hand, able to perfect a gin in a couple of tries. If he’s made it, it tends to be very good.
