Blackwell Fine Jamaican Rum

70cl | 40% ABV | Jamaica

in stock

Blackwell Fine Jamaican Rum is a dark rum which is packed with flavour. Expect a big tropical fruit hit on the nose, woody and toasted coconut to taste and a lingering coffee-like finish.

Rich and complex oak and coconut, Blackwell suggests sipping it on the rocks or using it as ‘the genius’ part of a well-mixed cocktail such as the Mojito. We tend to find it works best with ginger beer and a slice of lime.

About this product

Blackwell 'Black Gold' Rum is distilled, blended and bottled in Jamaica. It is a blend of molasses-based rums that are pot and column still distilled. While there's no definitive age statement, it is typically aged for around two years.

Created by Chris Blackwell (Island Records) - Blackwell Fine Jamaican Rum was made based off a traditional recipe from when Blackwell's family owned J. Wray & Nephew and the Appleton estate. Today it is crafted by master blender Joy Spence.

Blackwell Fine Jamaican Rum is made in Jamaica with founder Chris Blackwell also having strong links to the nation's rum history - he was born into a family long-settled in Jamaica - exporting bananas, coconuts and rum - since 1625.
