LIVE VIRTUAL GIN TASTING WITH INVERROCHE GIN

Posted by Spirits Kiosk on 6 Nov 2020

We've teamed up with Sipping Rooms to host another Lockdown special. For this virtual gin tasting event we are delighted to be joined by Jody Francis, Brand Ambassador all the way from Still Bay, South Africa to explore the delights of the Inverroche distillery range.

How does it work? It's simple - when you purchase a bottle of Inverroche Amber Gin (which is at 10% off for this event), you'll also get 2 x bottles of tonic free and an invite to join us on the Thursday 26th Nov from 20:30 - 21:30.

What happens at the tasting?

Log in for a one hour virtual masterclass with special guests from Inverroche distillery.

You'll get an introduction to the Inverroche range of gins, and a guided tasting through the Amber Gin in particular deconstructing how it's made, the botanicals and the flavours.

Q&A with the founder Lorna Scott - ask all your questions about the distillery, her story and the global plans for the brand.

A cocktail masterclass by our cocktail expert - learn how to mix 2 cocktails at home!

An invite including registration details, ingredient list, and logistics will be sent to all guests prior to the event. This includes an easily attainable 'store-cupboard' ingredient list will be provided ahead so you can be prepared for the cocktail session.

Who are Inverroche?

Inverroche exists to enable storytelling of their Ancestral heritage and to celebrate the origin of creativity as the Pioneer in the Artisanal African luxury spirits category. Founded by Lorna Scott in 2011 and developed by her family in the Southern Cape Coast fishing village of Still Bay, Inverroche has grown from a small home industry to the largest South African Craft Gin Brand in just 8 years.

Lorna developed the recipes with her son Rohan around their kitchen table, experimenting with different botanicals that she found around her to create the perfect combination of 3 gins all uniquely different, and each of them telling a different story of a different region of fynbos. These regions all fall under a biome, called the Cape Floral Kingdom.
