ZECA de Matos

ZECA de Matos is a fourth-generation family business which moved from Portugal to the south-east of Brazil in 1891, where they have their own sugar cane plantation in the Minas Gerais region. This is a single estate cachaça. Amusingly, their estate is frequented by a characterful anteater who helps reduce the number of insects around, a fact that didn't go under appreciated and is the reason why an anteater is depicted on their bottles!
