Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dha Whisky

70cl | 46.3% ABV | Scotland

in stock

With a touch of smoke from the peated malted barley introduced during its creation and combined with a higher sherry influence, Toiteach A Dha Whisky is offers the connoisseur an opportunity to try something truly unique.

There is an intriguing peatiness with hints of sherry and rich oak on the nose. To taste, the whisky’s prickling strength emanates from the dram, while warming with a lingering, robust length and delicately sweet sherry influence.

About this product

To create this Mòine variant, Senior Blender Dr. Kirstie McCallum selected a combination of ex Bourbon and Sherry casks which were matured in full in the distillery's coastal warehouses on Bunnahabhain Bay.

Bunnahabhain first came into existence in 1883, when William Robertson of Robertson and Baxter Blending House, joined with the Greenlees Brothers to create the Islay Distillery Company. Today it is part of the Distell Whisky group.

Bunnahabhain — which means ‘mouth of the river’ in Gaelic, stands at the mouth of the Margadale Spring on the shores of Islay. The distillery walls and boldly printed name are an icon of the island's landscape - as is its whisky!
