Sturdy and powerful aromas of crème brûlée, gingerbread and roasted macadamia nut lead the flavour journey. To taste, intense creamy, buttery notes, followed by a robust and lingering finish characterized by subtly spicy dark chocolate notes.
Camus's patented 'Intensity' method allows them to extract the most aromatic liquid. The unique ageing process involves the Master Cooper individually heating staves over an open flame to release the droplets still trapped in the grain.
Established in 1863, Camus is now led by the fifth generation of the family. To create this expression, Cyril Camus asked the Cellar Master Patrick Léger to select the best barrels of Extra Cognac to follow a unique ageing process.
Today, Camus's headquarters remain in the heart of the beautiful countryside of Cognac, France, with the company comprising of 500 employees in eight countries on three continents.
