Slightly sweet with a generous nose of citrus, fresh hit of menthol and balsamic. Dry wine, and almond dominate the slightly bitter citrus base and bring balance. Perfectly suited to Martini’s.
Made from a unique blend of 15 botanicals and spices that macerate in Ugni Blanc, like the other Dolin vermouths. Absinthe, brooklime, rose and orange bark are the best-known ones, but you can also taste verbena or yellow genepi.
Dolin is one of the last independent vermouth producers and still follows the same recipes from 1821. Only two families have been at the helm of the Dolin company in 200 years - the Chavasse/Dolin family and the Sevez family.
Since its creation in the 1830's, the Dolin company has drawn its inspiration from the Alps. Chambery is the only controlled appellation in France for the production of vermouth and Dolin is the last producer of Vermouth de Chambery.
Dolin's unchanged recipe is of France's great drinks treasures. It doesn't matter if you are making a Hanky Panky, Manhattan, Negroni or Martinez - this is the perfect companion for them all.
