Soft & delicate notes with light fruity notes greet the nose, while to taste the rum is full-bodied & with fruit pastry tones (creme caramel) and notes of cooked pears and toasted spice.
Produced for Moët Hennessy created with 100% Cuban sugar cane, and aged 3 years before being filtered (thus the light straw-like coloured liquid).
The Central Province of Villa Clara (where the rum is made) is also the birthplace of César Martí, a key figure and one of the island’s ten Maestros Roneros. Martí was mentored by the legendary José Navarro Campa - Cuba’s first Maestro Ronero.
Eminente is from the Central Cuban province of Villa Clara, an area known for creating refreshing and robust rum, smooth yet complex. Surprisingly unknown outside of the island, this style of rum is one of Cuba’s best-kept secrets.
