Foxhole London Dry Gin

70cl | 40% ABV | England

Foxhole Gin an homage to grapes, with part of its base alcohol taken from English wine grapes. Each batch takes 8,760 hours to make, and you can taste every single smidgen of hard work in the clean, crisp final spirit.

With a sparkling clean profile and a plump fruitiness coming in from the grape base, Foxhole Gin is a refreshing, light gin with a hefty kick of sprightly citrus. It makes for a lovely Martini, but works well in a G&T with a handful of frozen grapes.

"There’s a soft acidity to the nose (apples and grapes) underpinned by spice. To taste the spirit has a rounded feel, with floral almost violet-like grape tones playing a dashing cameo, with juniper quickly joined by coriander seed on the finish."

About this product

Foxhole Gin counts its home-grape spirit as a 'liquid botanical', which they add to bought in Neutral spirit. This is complemented by juniper, coriander, lemon zest, angelica, orris, liquorice, bitter orange and grapefruit zest.

Foxhole Spirits was founded by James Oag-Cooper in 2016 and distilled under contract at Silent Pool Distillery. He has a keen interest in promoting sustainability within the drinks sector, turning waste into wine (and then wine into gin…)

Foxhole Spirits kicked up its sustainability efforts a notch in 2018, when it launched Hyke Gin, a spirit that used unsold, bound-for-waste table grapes as a botanical.

HYKE Gin

Foxhole Spirits’ Hyke Gin is a slightly sweet, fresh gin using a half grape, half neutral grain base that salvages the would be waste grapes from supermarkets and turns them into delicious spirit!

"Hyke Gin is a really smart idea that's been well executed. Concept aside and taken on purely gin terms as a flavour, it's equally good - zesty citrus peel and coriander leads onto resinous juniper and a long complex finish."
