Gilpin’s Westmorland Extra Dry Gin is a modern take on a classic flavour profile, with bitter orange and borage helping set it apart from the norm.

Gilpin’s Westmorland Extra Dry Gin is a dry, clean-as-a-whistle gin with a cheek-filling mouthfeel and a flavour that stains the tongue for hours. It makes for a sparkling clean Martini and works really well in a G&T with a basil garnish.

Key Flavours

"Even though it's based on an old recipe, sage, borage and bitter (Seville) orange add a contemporary twist to Gilpins but it's firmly in the tradition, straight up juniper zone. Stick it in the freezer for a bracingly crisp Martini."

About this product

Gilpins Gin is made in a Multishot method at Thames Distillery in London. It’s made to a London Dry standard and has just eight botanicals.

Gilpins was created by Matthew Gilpin back at the start of the gin boom. Inspired by his ancestry, Matthew sought to make a gin that George Gilpin – distant by around 400 years, and one of the first men to bring Genever to London – would be proud of.

Thames Distillers, based in South London, is a contract distillery responsible for creating so many of today’s gins. Distiller Charles Maxwell is a dab hand, able to perfect a gin in a couple of tries. If he’s made it, it’s good.
