Dark chocolatey coffee and vanilla on the nose. Sweet coffee and a strong vanilla note are clear to taste, with a lingering finish of mocha espresso.

About this product

Kahlúa is made by blending roasted and ground Arabica coffee beans with water and white rum. Vanilla and caramel are also added and it is rested for eight weeks before bottling.

Pedro Domecq began producing Kahlúa in 1936. It was named Kahlúa, meaning "House of the Acolhua people" in the Veracruz Nahuatl language spoken before the Spanish Conquest. It became part of Pernod Ricard in 2005.
