Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength has a maritime feel about it - think a bombfire on a beach -lovely neat but a splash of water really quells some of that medicinal intensity.
This whisky is barrier-filtered only which means that any small char particles present are removed, however the flavours and rich, oily texture of the whisky are preserved before being bottled at cask strength.
The Laphroaig distillery was founded by farmers, Donald and Alexander Johnston, in 1815. They acquired land for cattle but quickly realised they could earn more making and selling whisky with the grains they grew, instead of feeding the cattle.

Your photo clearly shows the batch number as 009, yet you are actually selling the 012, also, to the knowledgible whisky fan, batch 009 has a RED stripe on the front of the bottle not green. Your advertising is misleading and borderline fraudulent. Not good.
