The iconic Maker's Mark bottled at cask strength! This higher proof variant takes the classic flavour profile and dials it up a notch or two…

Caramel toffee on the nose, with stewed fruit underpinned by oak. To taste charred oak, caramelised orange and dried fruits develop. Vanillin flood the finish. Great for an Old Fashioned.

About this product

Maker’s Mark is bottled and then dipped in their signature 400-degree red wax by hand. This takes the team a considerable amount of time to do and slows production from around 200 to 400 bottles per hour to 100 to 200 bottles per hour!

Maker's Mark was created in 1953 by husband and wife duo, Bill Sr and Margie Samuels. The recipe was led by Bill who adapted it from his 170 year old family recipe. The name, iconic bottle design and red wax was created by marketeer Margie.

The Maker’s Mark distillery is located on Star Hill Farm which is around 1,000 acres and based in Loretto, Kentucky. A limestone cellar where Maker’s Mark 46 is aged, a water sanctuary, restaurant and gift shop are all located on the grounds.
