About this product

Traditional gin botanicals such as juniper, coriander seed, angelica and cubeb berries, are mixed with locally foraged or hand grown gorse, hawthorn berries, rowan berries and Devon violets. One Shot method.

Papillon Dartmoor Distillery is based within the Dartmoor National Park in Moretonhampstead. It is a husband and wife team distilling small batch gin in copper alembic stills.

This gin imbues Dartmoor into every drop, while a percentage of the profits from each bottle is donated to a local butterfly conservation project aimed at protecting the local butterflies who feed on wild violets.

"Creamy and smooth overall. The use of sorrel and nettles builds a woodland feel, hazelnuts add texture, while the hawthorn and rowan keep it fresh. One to add with soda rather than tonic to get the full spectrum of flavours they have layered in. "
