Star of Bombay Gin

70cl | 47.5% ABV | England

Star of Bombay is a bolder expression of the distillery's signature style. Here they've added two additional botanicals and created a gin that's got a more rounded profile and livelier nose than their flagship Sapphire.

The two additional botanicals are Ambrette seeds and gently dried bergamot orange peel- both of which add a rich new dimension to our original recipe. Serve with an orange peel garnish in a G&T, but ideal for Negroni lovers

Key Flavours

Citrus
Juniper
Spiced
"One of the underrated gins in the Bombay range. The ambrette seeds add a musky almost smokey note that lends itself to Negronis and cocktails where an added depth of spice shines though."

About this product

To maintain the integrity of the 12 botanicals, the Bombay team slow down their famed vapour infusion process and distil them for longer. This helps ensure rich aromas and deeper flavours.

Bombay Sapphire (and its various siblings) are made at the brand's architecturally stunning distillery, Laverstoke Mill in Hampshire. Headed up by superstar master distiller Dr Anne Brock, theirs is a team with unparalleled experience and talent.

Laverstoke Mill is one of the best distilleries you could hope to visit, with state of the art equipment, an amazing gin distilling experience and the most jaw-dropping architecture on display. Go for the gin, stay for the botanical greenhouse…

"Bombay Dry is a classic offering that you can lean towards when you are looking for a reliable and affordable gin to have as a cabinet staple. With the lower ABV, be cautious about how much tonice to gin ratio you have."
