Suntory Chita Grain Whisky is aged in wine and Spanish Oak casks, in addition to American White Oak. The resulting whisky is very clean; on the nose is Crème brûlée and cardamom, on the palate it’s mild and smooth, with a hint of mint and deep honey.

Chita Distillery makes three types of grain whiskies. The heavy-type grain whisky is distilled through two columns, the medium-type through three columns, and the clean-type through four columns. It’s often used as a broth to enhance Suntory blends.
