Using a selection of mountain herbs and spices to accentuate the flavours found on the Norwegian mountain-plains, Vidda Torr is a floral-forward gin with meadowsweet and heather flower, balanced by an intense juniper backbone.

Piny, rich and inviting. There’s an underlying floral sweetness and a clear juniper, helped along by the fresh pine shoots. It is the Norwegian countryside in a glass, serve with a pink grapefruit slice in a G&T.

"There's provenance written all over this gin. The locally foraged botanicals add a sense of place and it really captures the feeling of a mountain walk, the smells and tastes of the mountain flora and the experience of the extreme Norwegian climate."

About this product

The gin is made using a blend of 11 herbs and spices including juniper, heather, yarrow, chamomile flower, bilberry, angelica root, meadowsweet, sorrel, elderflowers, pine shoots. It's distilled to a one shot, London Dry method.

Established in 2015, OHD was co-founded by Marius Vestnes of Cask Norway, Marcin Miller of Number One Drinks and Martin Krajewski. With craft and nature at the forefront of their process, they emphasise the idea of provenance in their spirits.

The distillery is located in Oslo's Bryn neighbourhood, just a stone's throw from the river Alna. Their Gin is inspired by the country's landscape with Vidda meaning 'mountain plateau' and Tørr meaning 'dry'.
