Freshly sawn oak and subtle hints of smoke on the nose. To taste, it's packed with sweet and rich flavours including brown sugar, cinnamon and peat.
Black Bottle is a blend of Islay, Highland and Speyside malts, blended with exceptional grain whiskies.
in 1879 three Graham brothers arrived in Aberdeenshire. They made a name for themselves as tea blenders, but soon turned their attention to a very different drink – a distinctively rich and slightly smoky whisky. Today it is owned by Burn Stewart.
The blend was originally known as Gordon Graham’s Special Liqueur Whisky, and was sold in pottery bottles. Eventually, they settled upon a striking black glass bottle which gave the blend its name.
This limited edition 10 Year Old Black bottle expression was initially released in January 2020 after a decade in American oak casks.
