Howard Raymond was inspired to make a gin that would well reflect the creativity, music and art of Soho, the devil may care corner of London in which his father was a well known figure – a king, of sorts. Thames Distillers, based in South London, is a contract distillery responsible for creating so many of today’s gins. Distiller Charles Maxwell is a dab hand, able to perfect a gin within a couple of tries. If he’s made it, it’s good.
