Somerset Cider Brandy Company

For thirty years Julian Temperley has been reviving the ancient art of Cider Brandy production in the UK. In 1989, his pioneering spirit led to HMRC granting the UK’s first ever full cider distilling license. In the decades since, his brandy has established itself as a national treasure.

The Somerset Cider Brandy distillery sits within 180 acres of orchards at the base of Burrow Hill, Somerset. Each bottle can be traced back to its source orchard and at the last count, there are over one hundred varieties of apple grown there – a testament to the diversity and bio-culture they nourish.
