Caramel and toffee combine with grilled pineapple and dried stone fruits. To taste, tropical fruit merges with vanilla and sweet sherry. Subtle pepper lingers on the finish. One to savour!
The blend uses rums from distilleries in Guatemala, Guyana, Trinidad, Panama and the Caribbean (using a combination of pot and column distillation techniques, all aged at origin). These are blended and finished in Pedro Ximénez casks.
Cabal is made by Scottish drinks business Harpalion Spirits, who brought together spirit lovers, rum champions, liquid specialists, trade experts (and literally the couple next door) to experiment until they had created their first expression.
A truly global rum - Cabal rum is made at distilleries in Guatemala, Guyana, Trinidad, Panama and the Caribbean, then blended and finished in Pedro Ximénez casks in Speyside.
Made using a blend of Jamaican, Guyanese and Bajan rums - a lovely dark rum with notes of Stone fruit, dried peels and a hint of anise.
