Chase Pink Grapefruit & Pomelo Gin

This is a superbly fresh gin with a sweet, pink grapefruit heart. The juniper from the underlying Gin shines through, too, so while its loud, it’s never un-ginny. It works really well in a punch, but we love it in a White Negroni.

To make their Pink Grapefruit & Pomelo Lime Gin, Chase forge a marriage between a fairly traditional botanical list and the namesake fruits. A handful of the fruits are then infused into the spirit afterwards, giving it that light colour.

The Chase family have been distilling since 2008, but their potatoes were already well known in the form of Tyrrells crisps. They decided to enter the white spirit market after realising that people weren’t exploring terroir enough.

Chase Distillery makes several vodkas, gins and liqueurs, all from scratch on their farm. The team welcome visitors to poke their noses around the distillery and surrounding orchards, with taster-heavy tours available to all.
