Flor de Cana 4yo Extra Dry Rum is tropical overall, with almonds on the nose, hints of citrus, with vanilla on the finish. Medium dry. Perfect for refreshing cocktails such as the Daiquiri.
In one of the industry's most sustainable practices, all Flor de Caña rums are rum is distilled five times. They age their rums in ex-bourbon barrels. The 4yr Extra Dry is a single estate blend, using casks that are aged for 4 yds and then filtered.
Flor de Caña’s story began in 1875 when Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa, a young Italian adventurer, left home to travel to the exotic country of Nicaragua. He established the distillery in 1890 and it is now a 5th generation family business.
The Flor de Caña distillery was founded in 1890 at the base of the San Cristóbal volcano, the tallest and most active volcano in Nicaragua. Today the distillery is fair trade certified and carbon neutral.
Flor de Cana 7yo Grand Reserve Rum is mahogany rum with honey and dark chocolate on the palate and a long and smooth finish.
