A classic gin through and through, Portobello Road No. 171 Gin is a cabinet essential. Reliable for any occasion, hugely underpriced for the quality it contains and a gin that has forged its reputation as a bartender's favourite for a reason.

Portobello Road Gin has a generous slug of juniper followed by a sustained, fresh citrus character lemon, bitter orange and coriander, developing into a sweet peppery finish. Garnish a G&T with a wedge of lime.

Key Flavours

"You may think of Portobello as a staple gin, with a great price and great flavour. But live with it, enjoy it and you soon come to realise that it's remarkably well balanced and, in fact, one of the truly great gins out there."

About this product

A classic recipe consisting of 9 botanicals (including juniper, coriander seed, angelica, orris, lemon and orange peel, liquorice root, cassia, nutmeg) Portobello Road Gin is made to a London Dry, multi-shot process.

In 2011, nestled above a 19th century drinking den on London’s world famous Portobello Road, four longtime friends Ged, Jake, Paul & Tom decided to launch their own gin.

While their spiritual home is on Portobello Road and the sister brands and limited editions are made in their own beautiful distillery, bar and tasting centre, the flagship gin is made under contract at Thames distillers.
