Pusser’s Blue Label is a Royal Navy style rum inspired by the Admiralty’s blending recipe last used when the Royal Navy discontinued its daily ration on 31 July 1970.
With a nose of classic Demerara sugar, molasses, dried fruits, island spices and caramel, Pussers Blue Rum is delicious one to serve with cola or in any of your favourite rum cocktails.
Produced using rums from the British Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Guyana, Pusser's is a blend of five stills. To make Pussers Blue Rum they use rums that have been aged for a minimum of three years.
Nine years after the Royal Navy discontinued the daily rum ration in 1970, Pussers Rum was founded to produce the rum from the original Royal Navy recipe, using a blend of five West Indian rums.
Using imported rums, the blending and bottling takes place in a plant on the Island of Tortola (British Virgin Islands) where operations are overseen by the brand’s founder Charles Tobias.
