Using 24 botanicals Silent Pool is one of the great, easy sipping and accessible gins. The smooth finish is achieved with the help of local honey but it's the overall intricate profile and stunning bottle that's had captivated fans since it launched.
Chamomile, elderflower, kaffir lime leaves and rose petals make for a soft floral aroma, while lavender, lime, orange and pear bring a fresh taste. Cassia bark and cubeb add depth to the finish. Serve with a twist of orange peel in a G&T.

More durable botanicals are macerated in the base spirit for 24 hours before being transferred into the still, along with a maceration of softer botanicals that were separately infused. More botanicals are added into a vapour chamber too!
Silent Pool Distillery, based on the Albury Estate in the Surrey Hills, was founded by former ITV Director Ian McCulloch and drinks expert James Shelbourne. It has several gins to its name, including its beautifully bottled namesake.
The distillery, made up of a group of semi-dilapidated farm buildings is based in an extraordinary location on the Duke of Northumberland’s Albury Estate, on the banks of the legendary Silent Pool.
