Dating back to 1788, Smith & Cross was one of England's oldest spirits producers and were prominent handlers of Jamaica rum. This rum represents the distinctively flavourful and aromatic style that made this rum style famous.

Made using molasses, cane juice and syrup from sugar at the Hampden Estate, it is distilled at the estate's own distillery. Very heavy rums are blended and aged from 18 months to 3 years in ex-bourbon barrels.

With notes of cooked pineapple and tropical fruit and cinnamon, Smith and Cross Jamaican Rum is characterful rum that's best suited for cocktails.

The Smith & Cross name can be traced back as far as 1788, producing sugar and spirits as well as importing vast quantities of rum and sugar from Jamaica. Today it is a part of Burlington (Hayman's).

Built circa 1750 Hampden distillery is known for its heavy pot still high-ester rums, produced without the use of commercial yeasts. This rum is a good representation of the distillery's style.
