Expect a malty, sherried blend with notes of dried fruits from apricot and sultanas. A touch of smoke closes the show.
The blended malts include Glenturret, Highland Park and Macallan which are matured in first-fill and refill American and European oak casks. Once blended it's finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks for around six months.
Edrington is the owner of the Famous Grouse and The Naked Grouse (amongst other well-known brands), with the latter launched in 2011 to appeal to those looking for an offering with a premium edge.
This blended scotch made with several single malts is made in Scotland and assembled by Master Blender, Diane Stuart
