Although aged for a year and a half, this Tequila maintains its agave routes whilst bringing an amazing palate of smoky oak, burned bananas and chocolate. Fantastic for sipping neat or over ice.
Vivir uses 8-9 year old lowland and highland agave, which is cooked in traditional clay ovens and autoclaves. The distillery has a natural spring in the centre of it that feeds pure spring water from a local volcano.
Vivir was founded by drink veterans Paul Hayes and Nav Grewal when, having worked with agave for more than 16 years in Mexico, they wanted to release a premium 100% Agave tequila to help shift perception away from shot, salt and lime culture.
Vivir is made at Casa Maestri distillery – a family-run operation in Jalisco. Their serpent logo is a twist on traditional Mexican artwork. It represents Quetzalcoatl, the ‘Feathered Serpent’, part of the Aztec story of how tequila came to be.
Vivir Tequila Reposado takes the brand's much loved Blanco, and ages it for 6 months in American Oak bourbon casks to add maturity and complexity to its profile. Absolutely delicious!
This clean and floral Tequila Blanco is made from estate grown highland Weber Blue Agave in Jalisco, Mexico. A great choice for those looking to make Margaritas.
