As with the rest of the 1800 Tequila range, it's made using 8-12 year old 100% Blue Weber agave. Once distilled, it is matured in a combination of American and French Oak barrels for no less than six months.

1800 Tequila is owned by the Beckmann Family (who also own Jose Cuervo Tequila). Originally, it was actually known as Cuervo 1800, but while the familial ties remain, it has since become a stand alone brand.
