Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin

70cl | 42% ABV | Netherlands

in stock

Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin is a Dutch spirit with an Indonesian story to tell. Lemongrass brings an exotic feel but it remains fresh and bold, with a deep juniper anchor holding it in place, while ethereal floral notes waver in and out of existence.

Bobby’s has. a lot of depth, so try a clove studded orange peel as a garnish in a G&T, or combine it with a rosé Vermouth in a Negroni. Cocktails that work well using Genever such as a Martinez sing with replaced with Bobby’s instead.

Key Flavours

"Bobby’s is multi-layered. Incredibly fragrant upfront with lemongrass and rosehips bursting into an intoxicatingly exotic mix. Complex clove and coriander seed flavours follow up while juniper anchors the journey. Unusual for all the right reasons."

About this product

To make Bobby’s Gin, the botanicals are individually distilled by Herman Jensen Distillery, then carefully blended together in exacting proportions. The key ingredients that are evident to taste are cloves, cubeb, lemongrass, juniper and rosehips.

Created by Sebastien Van Bokkel in 2012, this exotic, contemporary gin was inspired by an old family recipe. The resulting gin that’s been recreated is named after his grandfather, Bobby, who moved from Indonesia to the Netherlands in the 50’s.

The gin is made in partnership with Herman Jansen Distillery. They are a seventh generation family-owned distillery located in Schiedam, and have been producing spirits there since 1777 making them one of the oldest distillers in the world.
