Leafy citrus aromas waft, but this is all about resinous, rounded juniper. To taste the luscious texture is notable. Spice notes come to the fore with peppercorns, coriander seed, earthy angelica and an abundance of juniper.
Juniper, cardamom, coriander, orange blossom, lemon verbena, grapefruit peel, lemon peel and wild juniper from Patagonia are some of the botanicals included in the bill.
Bosque was launched in 2019 by the entrepreneurial creators of the Temple Brewery. It's a B-Corp registered brand and as part of their mission, they work to reforest Patagonia with native trees.
Bosque work with local harvesters of wild Patagonian juniper on the slopes of the Andes mountain range. These local collectors harvest the juniper by hand from wild plants (not plantations) of the Cordilleran Area (El Bolsón, Lago Pueblo, etc.)
