Crossbill 200 is a very rare, very special edition dry gin. It uses wild Highland juniper hand-picked from a single specimen bush that is c. 200 years old. Not just 100% Scottish, but single origin too!
The result of such a botanical focus is an intense concentrated dry gin bursting with fresh pine and booming juniper taste. One to sip neat and revel in the glory of what the highland conifer can bring to spirits.
Juniper is slowly macerated with fresh rosehips, wheat spirit and soft Scottish water. Once distilled, it is bottled at still strength to deliver an intense flavour profile.
Having already dabbled in the drinks industry by creating a vodka, Crossbill Gin was founded by architect Jonathan Engels and his business partners in 2014 in Inshriach Distillery near Aviemore.
Named after the Scottish bird, Crossbill was initially distilled in Aviemore, the distillery relocated to the legendary Barras in Glasgow’s East End. They are best known for their dedication to using 100% Scottish botanicals.
