Laphroaig 10 Year Old is the foundation of all Laphroaig expressions. It’s made from barley, which is malted at the distillery and dried over a peat flame adding greater depth. It has a smoky taste, underpinned by sweetness with a hint of seaweed.

Laphroaig Quarter Cask has incredible doubling of flavour due to the double maturation in two casks made of American oak. The use of the smaller cask size also ensures increased contact with the oak imparting delicious toffee and caramel flavours.

Incredibly popular, Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 012, is intense! It’s maritime characteristics come through with a slight salty tang, which sits perfectly alongside the whisky notes of peat and vanilla.

The 2019 release of the Laphroaig Cask Strength 25 Year Old is something truly special. This smoky delicacy has been aged in a combination of barrels; ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks which gives wood spice on the nose and fruit to taste.

Laphroaig Lore uses several aged liquids ranging from 7 to 21 years, they’re matured in small batches in five unique casks, producing an incredibly complex & intense whisky. Distillery manager John Campbell describes it as “the richest of the rich”.
