Michters Michters

Created in the 18th century Michter's was created by a farmer named John Shenk. After realising he had more grains than what he could sell to the local market, he bought a still and began distilling with the extra grains he had harvested, into whiskey. Michter’s currently has two distilleries in Kentucky, the Fort Nelson Distillery is based in the heart of downtown Louisville, the second distillery is located in Shively - a section of Louisville with a legendary whiskey heritage.
