Bullards Norwich Dry Gin is a sweet, creamy and enticing gin with a vanilla-like tonka running throughout accompanied by an almost brittle cardamom. It doesn’t stray too far from the Gin path, though, with a huge whack of juniper throughout.

Though it starts off soft, that perfumed tonka creaminess lays out something of a red carpet for the cassia, black pepper and cardamom spice, resulting in something of a fiery crescendo. A big, juicy orange wheel calms this down in a G&T.

Key Flavours

"The gin inside will having you sipping and smiling, but the Bullards bottle is covered in small details inspired by the brewery's history, which make for a really premium highly giftable item."

About this product

Bullards Gin has 10 botanicals, all of which are added to the base spirit 12 hours ahead of distillation. At 7am each day, the team switch on the still and collect their gin over a slow 12 hour run, yielding around 120 litres of gin each time.

Bullards Spirits was created by Craig Allison and distiller Peter Smith. The former was managing a Gin bar when he was offered the chance to buy a still. He couldn’t quite resist, and roped in tonka-obsessed fudge maker Peter right away.

Alan Partridge be damned, Norwich has something new to be proud of – Bullards Spirits. Like a magnet for awards, this brand are proving themselves to be astute trend-watchers and flavour makers – the whole range is worth a look.

"Mango and juniper may not seem the most obvious pair but the tropical hit combines well with and creates utter delight here. Try it in a martini with a white Vermouth and a zest of orange too, pure indulgence in a glass."
