Expect aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit and hints of black pepper. To taste, herbaceous citrus flavours and tropical notes lead, before they become more herbal. Serve with a grapefruit peel garnish.
10 exotic ingredients, one local fruit and 8 traditional gin botanicals are individually distilled and then blended together to make Canaïma. The Amazonian botanicals include cashew, acai, uva de palma, tupiro, seje, copoazu.
Canaïma Gin is produced in DUSA’s distillery, in the state of Lara, Venezuela. They dedicate 10% of their sales to support NGOS working to improve the quality of life of local communities and reforestation efforts.
Named after Canaïma National Park, Canaïma gin is made using 10 sustainably sourced Amazonian botanicals including Merey, Seje and Acai Berry, which are hand-picked at the foot of the Andes in La Miel, Venezuela.
