Crisp apples and vegetal agave meet tropical notes before earthy wood and a smokey finish typical of Mezcal linger on. The smoke is more discreet compared to the full-on Mezcals, making it very approachable. Serve neat or on the rocks.
The Mezcal is made with agave Espadin in San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca, which is cooked in underground pit ovens, milled by horse-drawn tahona, fermented for 7-10 days with mountain spring water, and double distilled in copper stills.
Dos Hombres Mezcal was founded by Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, who each have illustrious film careers, but most famously starred in the cult TV show Breaking Bad (as Jesse Pinkman and Walter White).
Dos Hombres uses Espadin harvested Oaxaca and is made in the village of San Luis del Rio, by third-generation mezcal maker, Gregorio Velasco.
