Drumshambo Gunpowder Irish Gin is a small batch Irish Gin made with a global selection of botanicals and gunpowder tea. A beautiful package through and through, this is a truly unique Gin and one to try out.

Drumshambo Irish Gin has a bold flavour and a bright, fleshy citrus taste. It’s oily and easy to sip, with a great complexity and a smooth profile. Try it with elderflower tonic and a sweet, juicy grapefruit wheel.

Key Flavours

"For those who don't known gunpowder the gin's star ingredient Gunpowder tea - it's a green tea that's been slowly dried then rolled into shiny pellets. The flavour is bold and bright with a slight spicy freshness, which comes through in the spirit."

About this product

Drumshambo Gunpowder Gin is distilled in traditional copper pots, with botanicals, including the signature green tea, processed in the still at the same time.

Drumshambo Irish Gin was created by Patrick J Rigney, a drinks industry veteran who decided to set up a distillery in Co. Leitrim in tribute to his parents, who met there back in the 1950s.

Drumshambo Gunpowder Irish Gin is The Shed Distillery’s flagship gin – it’s one you’ll see on backbars in the most unexpected places.
