First-Fill Bourbon: From Loretto, Kentucky, our barrels impart flavors of Brazil nuts, coffee beans, and aged oak. Oloroso Sherry: From Jerez, our butts offer tangy orange syrup and fruit punch flavors.

Lochlea is owned by Neil McGeoch and is an independent family-owned distillery ever since the first spirit was distilled in 2018. Whisky production is overseen by Production Director John Campbell (formerly of Laphroaig Distillery).

Nestled in the heart of Ayrshire, Lochlea was originally a cattle farm. Extending some 222 acres, the new owners acquired it in 2006 and realised that for a farm of that size to be viable they needed to do something very different.
