THE ELIXIR OF LEITH. Consider this blend a love letter to Leith, and as you'd expect from the area - it does not follow convention. N.9 is a dram filled contrasts, citrus, and depth. A stormy brightness, in tune with itself.

Expect big notes of tropical fruit. Flustered citrus zings and disappears, while spice and oak take over. It shouldn't work but it does, well, and has a distinct charm about it too. A journey of contradictions.

About this product

Five parts make up this blend. Some 5yr Campbeltown Superblend, both old grain and young whisky from Loch Lomond Distillery, a sherry finished cask of Single Malt from the Glentauchers Distillery in Speyside.

A five-strong founding team with a long background in drinks launched Woven; Duncan McRae, Peter Allison, Ed Harvey-Jamieson, Alastair Fiddes and Holyrood Distillery managing director Nick Ravenhall.

As blenders, Woven source whiskies from all over the place, and assemble them in an old Biscuit factory on Anderson Place, Leith. In doing so they continue the area's often forgotten about whisky making heritage.
