Expect prunes, raisins and tropical spices up in your nostrils while to taste, sweet sultana merge with chocolate and vanilla derived from the oak. It's got a caramelised finish too.
Admiral Rodney Royal Oak is the original Admiral Rodney blend. It contains 7-12 year old Coffey still rum that has been aged exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks and cross blended for optimal consistency.
The range was inspired by the naval victory of Admiral George Rodney, who ensured British domination of the Caribbean after he defeated the French at Battle of the Saints in 1782. The rum is overseen by Head Blender, Deny Duplessis.
