Carpano Bianco Vermouth

100cl | 14.9% ABV | Italy

Carpano Bianco has a light straw-like yellow colour, a fresh and complex aroma with an easily identifiable vinous note. The citrussy and exotic fruit flavours help it stand out as a great vermouth for a Martini.

Fresh citrus, dry white wine and cocoa form the bouquet of this delicious vermouth. A velvety profile is rounded off by a drying, complex wine note. Serve it on the rocks with a lemon peel!

About this product

Initially created in the 1930s, the recipe is a fiercely guarded secret although the main ingredients known to be infused are fresh bitter orange peel, mace, cinnamon and of course, wormwood.

Carpano was founded in 1786 by Antonio Benedetto Carpano, who owned a wine bar in the centre of Turin on the Piazza Castello. It is part of the Fratelli Branca group.

Carpano is made in the Piedmond region of Italy, with the base wines are sourced from Romagna, Puglia and Sicily.

"I’ve always thought of Punt E Mes as a very grown-up vermouth, it’s a big bitter beast, almost chewy, it’s the dive bar of Vermouths."

Antica Formula Carpano Vermouth

A full on, outrageously delicious sweet vermouth, laden with deep red wine tones accentuated by vanilla. Fantastic to use in the likes of a Martinez or a Negroni.

"The first vermouth I fell in love with, I think it works wonders in a negroni with a bourbon aged gin and in my opinion the best vermouth for a classic Rye based Boulevardier, the winter spice and rich cherry notes are just wonderful."
