On the nose green apple and agave rise alongside citrus peel and dried fruit. To taste, the oak builds in intensity, with caramel, buttery olives and figs joining cooked agave. The Clase Azul signature sweetness is also clear too.
The blend of Tequilas consists of Clase Azul Tequila Plata, a French oak cask aged Reposado tequila and an Extra Añejo aged in American Oak ex-whiskey casks and finished in ex-sherry casks.
Founded in 1997 by Arturo Lomeli, the brand also has a charitable arm, Fundación Con Causa Azul, which aims to support artisanal communities by providing training, education and resources to help keep Mexican artistry alive and thriving.
