Deanston 2008 Oloroso Cask Matured Whisky

Dried cherries and chocolate followed by sweet spice and sultanas emerge on the nose. To taste, treacle, festive spice with hints of mocha. This evolves into a long and warming finish with notes of gingerbread and nutmeg.

This limited edition release was exclusively aged for 12 years in Oloroso sherry casks. Limited to 13,227 bottles and 52.7% abv.

Following the cotton mill’s conversion to a distillery, the very first bottle of Deanston Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was made in 1975. Today it is part of the Distell Group.

With a long history in the cotton trade and many of the buildings used by the distillery stemming from the formerly prosperous industry - Deanston Distillery its sits on the banks of the River Teith in the Scottish Highlands.
