Marrying a grassy Sauvignon Blanc from South Australia with quandong and native thyme for a light aroma. This is followed by white pepper, gentian and native anise myrtle to taste. An earthy, salty and very herbaceous character.
Regal Rogue follows a natural production process (wine fortified by grape spirit and infused with botanicals), with no wood interaction and finishes extra-dry with a lingering after-taste.
Seeking to challenge convention, Regal Rogue was founded by Mark Ward in 2011. The grapes are sourced from celebrated winemaker Justin Jarrett and his organic vineyard. In 2020, the brand became part of Irish drinks firm Intrepid Spirits.
